IN THE GOLDEN CAGE

The gallery ArtAffair has locked the artworks in the golden cage due to the restrictions caused by the Corona pandemic.

Three of my works are also locked up “IN THE GOLDEN CAGE”.
Due to the corona virus pandemic, the visit is limited to defined time windows.

Important:
The opening will be from Thursday, May 7th to Saturday, May 9th.
There will be an introduction every day at 17.00, 18.00, 19.00 and 20.00 hrs.

In order to avoid waiting times, please register online on the desired date. For this purpose we have set up a doodle where you can easily reserve an hour for your visit to our vernissage.

Places will be allocated in the order in which the application is received.

Peter Nowotny:
The works of the Regensburg artist are characterized by the omission of everything unnecessary. He reduces his figures to such an extent that only the simplest structure remains visible. And these iconographic borderlines fascinate the eye, because they deviate from the usual, and yet reveal the essential. “What is decisive is that which is not (yet) there at all, but to which one refers intensively,” the artist explains.

The picture object “Monet” consists of 16 picture plates / direct print on aluminium dibond, mounted with magnets on an iron plate.
