Communication

We communicate with plants through our breath. With every exhalation, we nourish the plants (with CO₂), and the plants produce the oxygen we need to live.

Relationship:

The molecules of haemoglobin (the pigment in blood) and chlorophyll (the green pigment in leaves) are identical; they differ only in their central atom. Haemoglobin has a central iron atom, whilst the centre of chlorophyll is occupied by a magnesium ion.
